SCFB Young Leaders win 3rd consecutive Agri-Quiz Bowl title!

The Stephenson County Farm Bureau brought two strong teams to the 2009 IFB Young Leaders Agri-Quiz Bowl on August 18th at the Illinois State Fair, and when it was over
SCFB brought home a third consecutive championship and seventh top-four finish in 8 years. Both teams advanced to the semi-finals, where Team 2 met with some difficulty and was unable to advance. Team 1 advanced to the finals and came back from an early deficit to pull away from teams from Vermilion, St. Clair, and Livingston Counties.

Members of the winning Team 1 were Abe Trone, Greg Kent, Coe Kempel, and Samantha Kempel. They will be recognized at the IFB Annual Meeting in Chicago in December.

Members of Team 2 were Chad Bremmer, Deb Bremmer, Adam Kryder, and Karen Kryder.

Thirty-five teams statewide competed in this annual event. Congratulations to our competent competitors!
