Last Call for Intern Applications!

February 29 is the deadline for applications for the 2012 SCFB Summer Program Assistant position, running from June 1 through August. We've received a large number of applications this year, and the top candidates will be contacted for interviews in early March.

Chicago Getaway Cancelled

Due to the G8 Summit and the NATO Summit occurring in Chicago May 15-22 and presenting security and transportation challenges, we have decided to cancel our May 19 Chicago Getaway bus trip. We apologize for this change of plans!

Black Hills Trip - First Bus Full, Starting on Second!

Area Farm Bureaus and Tri-State Travel have planned another outstanding trip for Farm Bureau members September 22-28, 2012 to the Black Hills, and the first bus is full as of 2/16/12 with a second bus now being filled!

Australia/New Zealand Trip Planned for 2013

Area Farm Bureaus and Tri-State Travel are offering a 17-day trip of a lifetime for FB members to New Zealand and Australia on January 22-February 7, 2013.

A CPR training course for the general public has been scheduled for Saturday March 10 at the Farm Bureau, and the class is filling quickly.

Meat Gift Certificates Available at SCFB

The Stephenson County Farm Bureau is now offering meat gift certifiates in $5 increments, redeemable at five retailers in Stephenson County as a way to promote our agricultural products locally.

SCFB Foundation Scholarships Available

The SCFB Foundation has announced its scholarship offerings for the 2012-13 academic year, with application deadlines of April 13 for high school senior scholarships and May 31 for the college-level grants.
