Lime Rock Cheese Available at SCFB

We're pleased to now offer locally produced Lime Rock Brown Swiss cheeses for sale at the SCFB office, with ten great varieties to choose from!

Lime Rock Farms, operated by SCFB director Ross Meinert and his sister Jane Rieman and her husband David, produce quality cheeses from their Brown Swiss herd in northeast Stephenson County. The cheeses are processed and packaged at Wenger's Springbrook Cheese near Davis, and they are being marketed at retail locations in Illinois and Wisconsin with growing popularity.

Varieites available at the FB office include Swiss, Baby Swiss, Havarti, Brick, Muenster, Aged Swiss (2-1/2 years), Smoked Swiss, Smoked Baby Swiss, Smoked Havarti, and Smoked Brick. Packages are appoximately 9 oz. and are affordably priced, so stop by and check out these delicious locally-produced cheeses.
