SCFB Foundation Scholarships Offered

Applications are now being accepted for our SCFB Foundation scholarships for the 2015/16 academic year - click here for the application for the High School Senior $500 Ag Studies scholarships, and click here to download the application for College Level Scholarships (for those with at least 30 credit hours earned).

"Stephenson Scenes" calendars now available

We're pleased to announce the first "Stephenson Scenes" calendar featuring the twelve winners of our 2014 photo contest. Calendars are on sale for just $10 at the Farm Bureau office and the Freeport/Stephenson County Visitors Center, with proceeds going to the SCFB Foundation benefitting scholarships, teacher grants, and agricultural advocacy efforts.

Northern IL FB Bowling Tourney Set for January 17

Ready for some family fun? The 2015 Northern IL Farm Bureau Bowling Tournament will be Saturday, January 17th at the Forest Hills Lanes in Rockford, IL with registration beginning at 1 p.m. and bowling at 2 p.m. Awards will be presented for high score individual in each division as well as high score in the Child (under 12) and Adult (12+) divisions.  Divisions will be determined by your age the day of the tournament.  Click here for a registration form.

Area county Farm Bureaus and Tri-State Travel have planned an amazing trip to Ireland and Scotland on July 20-31, 2015, and only around 10 seats remain as of 12/17; click here to see the trip brochure and call (815) 232-3186 for more info! Space is limited to one 44-passenger coach, so don't delay! A second preview program will be held on Tuesday January 20 at 6:30 p.m. with Tri-State's Jack Wideman sharing the details of this fabulous trip.

"American Country Christmas" trip planned for November 2015

Area Farm Bureaus and Tri-State Travel have planned a terrific holiday trip, "American Country Christmas", scheduled for November 29-December 3, 2015. A preview program is planned for Tuesday January 20, 2015 at 7:15 p.m. at the Farm Bureau in Freeport, and you can click here to see the trip flyer with complete details.

We are now accepting applications for our 2015 Summer Program Assistant position - click here to see program details and click here for an application. Applicants will be scheduled for an interview at their earliest convenience following submittal of application, with the option of scheduling interviews over the Christmas break being a possibility.
