Energy efficiency program offering great savings for farmers

Through a free program funded by Com Ed customers called the "Northern Illinois Agricultural Energy Efficiency Program", farmers taking service from Com Ed can benefit from rebates and savings on energy efficiency upgrades in their operations. Currently you can get up to two free electric timer units, ideal for block heaters and other applications.

SCFB Foundation scholarships now available

Applications are being accepted for our Stephenson County Farm Bureau Foundation scholarships for the 2017-18 academic year - click here for the college level application due on May 31. The deadline for high school applications was April 14.

Farm-to-Farm 5K results

We thank everyone who made our inaugural SCFB Young Leaders "Farm-to-Farm 5K" a tremendous success - we had 137 registered runners and feedback has been extremely positive. We appreciate your patience as we worked through some issues getting times tabulated, which will go smoother next year as we plan to use bib timing to get accurate results in a timely fashion.
