Tentative 2015 trip lineup

Family portrait program scheduled

We are pleased to offer an outstanding opportunity for Stephenson County Farm Bureau members to have professional family portraits taken this fall as Lifetouch Photography will be here on November 13-15. Sittings will be scheduled from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, and you can self-schedule your appointment by clicking here or you can call the Farm Bureau office at (815) 232-3186.

Ireland/Scotland Trip filling quickly!

Area county Farm Bureaus and Tri-State Travel have planned an amazing trip to Ireland and Scotland on July 20-31, 2015, and the trip is already half-full as of 9/4; click here to see the trip brochure and call (815) 232-3186 for more info! Door County Adventure, Shipshewana trips tentatively full

Pending confirmation of attendance from those already signed up, our July 27-30 Door County Adventure VI and our June 8-10 Shipshewana Amish Country bus trips are already at capacity. We are beginning standby lists as we often have some fallout due to health or other issues, so call the FB office at (815) 232-3186 today to get your name on the list. 

Ron Bremmer named Master Farmer

Pearl City farmer Ron Bremmer has been named one of the four Master Farmers for 2014 by Prairie Farmer Magazine, one of the most prestigious awards presented in the farming community in Illinois. Ron farms in partnership with his wife Karen and their sons Chad (Deb) and Ross (Melanie) and their families, with daughter Carmen employed in an agribusiness career. Ron was nominated by SCFB manager Bruce Johnson and joins several other local winners including Doug Scheider (2013), Doug & Tom Block (2009), Dennis Endress (1995), I.
