Master Showmanship Contest planned for 2016 county fair

The Stephenson County Farm Bureau Young Leaders and Stephenson County 4-H are hosting the first Master Showmanship Contest on Saturday July 9 at 1 p.m., with the winner going on to compete in the state contest on August 12 at the Illinois State Fair.

Dairy Days Parade set for June 26

Panama Canal trip planned for 2017

Rose Parade trip planned - space limited!

We're sponsoring a fabulous trip to Pasadena on December 30, 2016-January 3, 2017 to see the Rose Parade and other attractions, in cooperation with several northern Illinois Farm Bureaus and Lindstrom Travel. Water testing offered for farmers

SCFB is pleased to have purchased a nitrate testing kit with grant funds provided by the Illinois Farm Bureau, and we're now offering the opportunity for farmers to have surface or tile water tested to determine nitrate levels. We plan to perform tests one day each week at the FB office, and we will also be available on a limited basis to perfrom tests on the farm.
